Tourism is one of the largest industries in Vermont. And the state implements a robust campaign to promote Vermont vacations globally.
Vermont doesn’t need a tag line. The name by itself conjures up thoughts of beauty and peace. Through seasonal print ads in national magazines, widespread television ads, Canadian radio spots, an extensive website, banner ads, emails, direct mail, elevator videos, ski resort affiliation campaigns, regional campaigns, printed tourist information, and a co-branding effort with Cabot Creamery, the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development was able to keep the state at the top of people’s minds year around.
